They opened it as a late night dinner alternative. They often went to the theater and found that there was no place to eat a full dinner after the show.<BR/><BR/>It was an upscale steak house. After Irwin's passing his wife ran the restaurant until it cloded. <BR/><BR/>Irwin's estate executors gave no interest in the cafeterias to his wife or surving children. Irwin's shares in the cafeteria were given to Irving Kaplan (his uncle), Paul Tobin and Leo Martin. Irwin willed 30% of his business interest to Loe Martin in his will which was changed the day of his death.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
